Susan is a tremendously hard worker and is very engaged in transportation issues. She has brought wonderful ideas to Charlotte from her involvement in the Transportation Infrastructure and Services Committee of the National League of Cities And she has certainly shared the best practices from Charlotte with those of us from around the country, which has benefitted us all. I call her "the energizer bunny" because she outworks everyone and has such boundless energy and enthisiam for the city she loves so much. It is a privilege to work with her in seeking solutions we all face in America's cities. I am proud to endorse her re-election bid.

I had the pleasure to meet Susan years back when she was on the Mecklenburg county school board. I learned at that time how much she truly cares about all of the citizens of Mecklenburg county from the youngest to the oldest. She stood up for and fought for the rights of our then elementary school aged sons. She has continued to stand up for all citizens of Charlotte. She works hard to ensure that Charlotte is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We are fortunate to have somone who lives out what she says running for reelection.
